Beach Meadows
15 Kilometers away

Beach Meadows Beach is a very flat, white sand beach, a great spot for swimming either in the ocean or in the adjacent area where a creek empties into the sea. You can gaze out to Coffin Island and the lighthouse on the point. The adventurous types can walk along the rocky coast from Eagle Head Bay, an hour walk wher you can see tide-pools formed by water caught between large chasms of boulders. The inhabitants of these pools are sea urchins and starfish and you relax in the sun-warmed pools with them.

Picnicking and camping is available. The Meadow Lake Provincial Park is always an option as well, and features a beach, interpretive programs and a boardwalk.
